I hold a Bridging Visa A while waiting for an ART review. Can I travel overseas?

A Bridging Visa A does not normally allow you to leave Australia and return.

If you leave Australia while holding only a Bridging Visa A, the bridging visa will generally cease.

If you need to travel, you must apply for a Bridging Visa B (BVB) before you depart Australia. Only a Bridging Visa B (BVB) will let you travel in and out of Australia.
